Bristol+Bath Creative R+D - Prototypes
Bristol+Bath Creative R+D is a five-year, £6.8 million collaboration that aims to raise the bar for the region’s creative industries. The overall programme was split into themes including Digital Placemaking, Expanded Performance and Amplified Publishing. With each theme a series of prototypes were created that drew upon the thinking being explored.

I was commissioned to tell the stories of these prototypes in short, engaging films (some during lockdown measures). I worked with multiple stakeholders and collaborators to produce content that captured the energy of the projects and where their innovation might take us, keeping future investment in mind. The films were screened at in-person showcases and online for an international audience.
Circle/دایره was a collaborative project between Roxana Vilk, Vilk Collective and SquidSoup. It explored themes of inclusion, immersive experiences and shared spaces, and utilised SquidSoup’s distinctive AuioWAVE technology (a stunning system of networked light and sound devices that interacted with the performance). We shot the film at the egg theatre in Bath and worked with the prototype team to develop the script and voiceover to articulate the project in an accessible way.
